Lahore: (RightNow) On the directive of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, 15 clinics on wheels have been dispatched to Azad Kashmir to provide medical facilities. Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir sent off these clinics at a special ceremony.

Imran Nazir stated that the Punjab government is taking practical steps to provide quality and timely medical facilities to the public. He mentioned that mobile medical units and essential medicines are being sent to Azad Kashmir on the special directive of the Chief Minister.

He further explained that the Punjab government is committed to people-friendly initiatives in the health sector, extending medical facilities beyond Punjab to other regions as needed.

It is important to note that assisting affected areas in difficult times is a national and humanitarian responsibility of the government. Imran Nazir emphasized that clinics on wheels play a crucial role in providing basic medical facilities in remote and underprivileged areas.

These mobile clinics offer certified doctors, medical staff, diagnostic facilities, and essential medicines all in one place, benefiting thousands of patients.
