Multan: (RightNow) Senior politician Javed Hashmi and his two sons-in-law face charges of alleged electricity theft in Multan.

According to police, separate cases have been registered against the three at Makhdoom Rasheed police station. A MEPCO spokesperson stated that electricity theft was detected during operations at various locations.

The spokesperson mentioned that electricity meters were seized during the operation, and legal proceedings have commenced. Electricity to Javed Hashmi’s house was cut off on Saturday evening.
