US launches attacks on Iran after soldiers killed in Jordan, escalating tensions.
Tehran: (RightNow) Following the death of two US soldiers in Jordan, the US has launched fresh attacks on Iran. Explosions have been reported in various areas of Hormozgan province, including Hajiabad, Bandar Abbas, and Qeshm.
The US strikes resulted in loud explosions in these regions. Fighter jets were also seen flying over Kish Island’s airspace. A missile strike has been confirmed in Sirik city, escalating tensions in the area.
According to US CENTCOM, these attacks are in response to the assault on US soldiers in Jordan. President Donald Trump has ordered strong action against Iran, stating that Iran will not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.
US media reports that 29 US soldiers have been injured in these attacks. Several helicopters have been damaged, and military installations have suffered heavy losses, impacting US military strength.
It is noteworthy that Iran has destroyed an explosive drone near the US consulate in Erbil, Iraq, and has attacked a US logistics center in Kuwait. Reports also indicate damage to an aircraft at Bahrain’s Sheikh Isa Airbase.
