Karachi: (RightNow) Pakistan recorded 13% more rainfall during the pre-monsoon season. The Meteorological Department released this report covering April to June.

According to the report, April saw 65% more rainfall than usual, while May and June experienced a significant decrease.

The Meteorological Department has advised residents near rivers and streams to remain vigilant.

This increased rainfall could positively impact agriculture, but there is also a risk of flooding in some areas.

It is noteworthy that April recorded 109% more rainfall in Punjab and 169% more in Sindh.
