Riyadh: (Right Now News) Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has announced strict action against those staying illegally after their visa expiration. The ministry stated that such individuals will face a fine of 50,000 Riyals and a six-month imprisonment.

In a statement released on Monday, it was mentioned that those not departing on time will face legal action under Saudi laws. These individuals may also be deported later.

The ministry emphasized that Saudi Arabia is strictly enforcing immigration laws and will not tolerate violations. Compliance with residency, labor, and border laws is mandatory.

The Saudi Ministry of Interior has urged foreigners to adhere to their visa duration and leave the country on time to avoid legal action.

It should be noted that violations in Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province can be reported to 911, while other areas can contact 999.
