Gilgit-Baltistan: (Right Now News) Chief Election Commissioner Raja Shahbaz Khan has appealed to the public to complete the elections peacefully. He stated that the polling process began at 8 AM, and there is significant voter participation.
After visiting various polling stations, Raja Shahbaz Khan reported that the public is showing interest in the electoral process. Female voters are also arriving at ladies’ polling stations to cast their votes.
The Chief Election Commissioner mentioned that excellent arrangements have been made for the convenience and safety of voters. The electoral process is being ensured in a transparent, free, and peaceful environment.
He urged the public to make the electoral process successful peacefully and demonstrate democratic responsibility.
It is noteworthy that during the Gilgit-Baltistan elections, carrying mobile phones inside polling stations is prohibited to ensure transparency.
