Islamabad: (Right Now News) Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that Afghan Taliban cannot be trusted. According to him, the Taliban’s policy of sending mixed signals is dangerous.

Khawaja Asif mentioned on Geo News that there has been no reduction in Taliban’s support for TTP. Their message is limited to the media only.

He emphasized that direct messages should come from the Taliban’s top leadership. Relying on media reports can be risky.

Khawaja Asif noted that the Taliban verbally promise to restrain TTP but refuse to provide written guarantees. This raises doubts about their intentions.

It is noteworthy that a trilateral agreement with the UAE and the Taliban was made, which was not implemented. This failure highlights their unreliability.
