The Defense Minister further mentions that the final decision on governor rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be based on the situation. The government is considering all constitutional and legal options.

Khawaja Asif criticizes the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, accusing it of ignoring terrorism. He claims evidence exists of the provincial government’s links with the Taliban.

The Defense Minister asserts that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot be left at the mercy of insensitive rulers. He stresses the need for decisive action to prevent the province from being held hostage.

It is noteworthy that during tensions between the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federal government, PTI announced a long march towards Islamabad. The government has indicated considering constitutional options, including governor rule.
