Doha: (RightNow) Qatar has denied allegations of interfering in Israeli elections. Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari stated that these accusations are baseless.

The Qatari spokesperson clarified that Qatar does not interfere in Israel’s internal political matters. Attempts are being made by Israeli politicians to tarnish Qatar’s reputation.

Parliamentary elections were held in Israel on October 27. The Israeli Central Election Committee has instructed Shin Bet to conduct investigations.

It is notable that Arab parties in Israel have secured 19 seats. Opposition leaders have supported a full investigation.
