Karachi: (RightNow) Sindh has confirmed 3 new cases of Mpox. Two cases are from interior Sindh, while one case is reported from Karachi.

Sindh Infectious Disease Hospital in NIPA has reported 3 confirmed and 1 suspected case. The interior Sindh cases include a father and daughter, and the Karachi case is from Federal B Area.

With the recent cases, the total number of confirmed Mpox cases in Sindh this year has reached 39. Karachi has confirmed 13 cases so far.

Mpox is a viral disease related to the smallpox virus family. Symptoms include body rashes, fever, and weakness.

It is important to note that Mpox spreads through close physical contact or using items of an infected person. Patients are advised to remain in isolation as a precautionary measure.
