Islamabad: (RightNow) Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal visited the Cardiac Center at PIMS. He inspected various rooms and inquired about patient issues in the electrophysiology cath lab.

The Health Minister expressed strong displeasure over the poor condition of private rooms at PIMS. He noted that the walls are dilapidated and could cause harm if they collapse.

Mustafa Kamal instructed Executive Director Dr. Salman that daily maintenance of the hospital is essential. He emphasized that anyone not performing their duties should be immediately dismissed.

The Federal Minister stated that no one will be given leniency. He urged the administration to take immediate action.

It is noteworthy that the PIMS administration had complained to the Health Minister about centralized power. Mustafa Kamal asked them to provide a written proposal for a model change.
