Tehran: (RightNow) Field Marshal Aasim Munir is set to visit Tehran on Monday, as reported by the Iranian Foreign Ministry. Significant meetings are expected during the visit.

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the purpose of this visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran. The focus will be on enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

A spokesperson stated that Field Marshal Aasim Munir’s visit is part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and security in the region. Discussions will cover matters of mutual interest.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian mentioned in a ceremony that the country is currently facing a comprehensive economic, military, and security challenge. Iran remains steadfast against stringent U.S. sanctions.
