Berlin: (RightNow) Scientists have discovered a new method to identify people using WiFi. Germany’s Institute of Information Security included 197 individuals in this research.

The study reveals that it is possible to recognize people without cameras or sensors using WiFi networks. This technique achieved nearly 100% accuracy in identification.

Scientists state that this method is based on radio signals that return from devices to the router. Through analysis, these signals can create images of individuals.

The research indicates that the widespread use of WiFi devices could pose a privacy threat. Researchers emphasized that this system can work without any WiFi device.
