Washington: (RightNow) U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened Oman with bombing amid ongoing Middle East tensions. He stated that if Oman obstructs U.S. efforts with Iran, it will face severe bombing.

President Trump, in an interview with Fox News, described the threat against Oman as unusual since Muscat has played a mediating role between the U.S. and Iran. He demanded Iran surrender and raise the white flag of peace.

President Trump mentioned that the 60-day ceasefire agreement with Iran has ended, and his priority is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He emphasized that there will be no haste in dealing with Iran.

Iran rejected reports of depleted modern weapon stockpiles, stating that the U.S. president revealed only minor weapons were used by America.

It is noteworthy that Oman has always played a mediating role in diplomatic contacts between the U.S. and Iran. These threats could escalate tensions in the region.
