Tehran: (RightNow) Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei states that Pakistan and Qatar are playing a crucial role in reducing current tensions. He mentioned at a weekly news conference that Iran does not make decisions under deadlines or pressure.

Baghaei explained that the memorandum of understanding was only for lifting sanctions and resolving nuclear issues. He accused the U.S. of violating the MOU, which has stalled negotiations.

He added that talks with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz are ongoing, and Iran is working on maritime procedures. He clarified that Iran does not make decisions under deadlines or pressure.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Iran’s steadfastness has proven enemy estimates wrong. Iran maintains contact with Pakistan and Qatar, both of which play a significant role in reducing tensions.

It is noteworthy that the memorandum of understanding did not include a 60-day deadline condition.
