Mohsin Naqvi meets Iranian President, conveys messages from PM and Field Marshal.
Tehran: (RightNow) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran. The meeting focused on bilateral relations and the current regional situation.
According to sources, Mohsin Naqvi conveyed a special message from the Prime Minister and Field Marshal to the Iranian President. He also briefed the Iranian President on the details of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement.
Iranian media reports that Mohsin Naqvi is assisting Field Marshal Asim Munir in peace negotiations. Field Marshal Munir is in contact with Gulf countries, Iran, and US officials.
Prior to this meeting, the Interior Minister also met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. They discussed the regional situation further in this meeting.
It is noteworthy that these meetings are crucial for improving relations between Pakistan and Iran. Defense and economic agreements between the two countries are vital for regional stability.
