Yemen: (RightNow) Yemeni government forces have launched drone strikes on Houthi bases in the southwestern province of Adali. These attacks resulted in significant casualties and the destruction of military equipment.
Presidential Leadership Council member Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami stated that the southern armed forces targeted Houthi bases, military barracks, and vehicles in northern Adali at Bab Ghalq, Al-Fakher, and Mars fronts.
The statement mentioned that the strikes damaged Houthi barracks, trenches, tunnels, and military vehicles. The aim was to halt Houthi movements and reinforcements.
These attacks are significant as they attempt to weaken Houthi military activities. The strikes were conducted to secure Yemeni forces’ positions in Adali.
It is noteworthy that the Houthis have not immediately commented on these claims. Yemeni forces’ attacks against the Houthis continue, escalating tensions in the region.
