Dominique Dillon is the anchor for Fox 13’s morning show ‘Good Morning Memphis.’ On July 29, she closed her eyes for a few seconds while on camera.
When Dominique opened her eyes, the camera had already switched to the next shot. She described the incident as embarrassing and likened it to a nightmare.
The video of the incident went viral on social media, where people expressed sympathy rather than criticism. Initially, producers did not realize the anchor had fallen asleep.
It is noteworthy that Dominique is a mother of two. Her elder daughter is two years old, and her younger daughter is eight months old. The night before the incident, her husband was on a double shift, leaving all childcare responsibilities to Dominique.
