Quetta: (RightNow) National Party leader Abdul Malik Baloch calls for maintaining the 18th Amendment and NFC Award. He urges abandoning the idea of creating new provinces.

Speaking at a National Party event in Quetta, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch emphasized presenting Balochistan’s case to Islamabad. He stated that implementing proposed points could improve Balochistan’s situation.

Abdul Malik Baloch further stressed the importance of retaining the 1973 Constitution, 18th Amendment, and NFC Award. He rejected the notion of forming additional provinces.

He highlighted the need to strengthen local government institutions in Balochistan, stating they play a crucial role in the province’s development.

It is noteworthy that the 18th Amendment provided autonomy to provinces and changed financial resource distribution through the NFC Award.
