Federal Interior Minister announces construction of two new underpasses in Islamabad, starting in September.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The federal capital has decided to construct two new underpasses. Work on Kashmir Chowk and Faisal Mosque underpasses will begin in September.
A meeting chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed current and new development projects. Proposals to increase CDA’s revenue were also discussed.
Due to rain, roads and underpasses in the twin cities are submerged, affecting daily life.
The Interior Minister instructed to strengthen Capital Emergency Services and work on a sustainable revenue model for financial self-reliance.
It is noteworthy that the construction of underpasses in Islamabad has led to the postponement of scheduled exams, and work on the Expressway service road is ongoing.
