Lahore: (RightNow) Police have arrested six accomplices in the murder case of PTI leader Abdullah Tahir, who was shot in Ghalib Market.

Police sources revealed that the arrests were made for facilitating the shooters. The investigation team stated that the suspects rented a car from Gujranwala, which has been seized by the police.

The suspects obtained the car and affixed fake number plates. They traveled to Gulberg in the car and reached the clinic on motorcycles.

The main suspects involved in the incident remain at large. Police continue efforts to apprehend them, and law enforcement agencies are further investigating based on the evidence.

It is noteworthy that Abdullah Tahir’s murder has spread fear in the area, and the incident has sparked strong reactions in political circles.
