Karachi: (RightNow) The internal details of the Pakistan Test squad meeting have emerged following their defeat in the first Test. Sources reveal that Captain Babar Azam and Head Coach Sarfaraz Ahmed addressed the players briefly.

Babar Azam stated in the meeting that their batting has been consistently faltering, and opposing teams’ tail-enders are scoring runs. He emphasized the need to find solutions to recurring mistakes.

The ICC has fined Pakistani fast bowler Khurram Shehzad 15% of his match fee, while Mohammad Abbas has been issued a warning.

Head Coach Sarfaraz Ahmed mentioned that they need victories, and every player must feel responsible. He warned that failure to take responsibility would lead to increased challenges.

It is noteworthy that former Test captain Shan Masood is likely to miss the second Test against the West Indies. His injury rehabilitation will be completed before the England tour.
