The Saudi Civil Defense has advised citizens to take precautionary measures through the National Early Warning System. Authorities have not immediately clarified the nature of the threat.

Shortly after, the Saudi Civil Defense announced that the threat has subsided and the situation has returned to normal. Residents are allowed to resume their regular activities.
