Peshawar: (RightNow) Intense rains and flash floods since July 19 have caused roofs to collapse, resulting in 28 deaths in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Across the province, 29 individuals have been injured.

According to the PDMA spokesperson, the victims include 10 men, 15 children, and 3 women, while the injured comprise 13 men, 9 women, and 7 children. The rains have damaged 47 homes, with 37 partially and 10 completely destroyed.

Incidents occurred in Peshawar, Nowshera, Khyber, Mardan, and other districts. Relief operations are ongoing in various areas.

PDMA, Rescue 1122, and other agencies are jointly providing aid in affected regions. Immediate assistance has been directed for victims. The public is advised to avoid unnecessary travel.
