Islamabad High Court suspends Anti-Narcotics Force recruitment process until August 22.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The High Court has halted new recruitments in the Anti-Narcotics Force. This order pertains to the recruitment process as per the issued advertisement.
The court announced that the implementation of the new recruitment advertisement will remain suspended until the decision on the main petition. Justice Muhammad Azam Khan issued these orders.
The court further stated that the miscellaneous application is approved without deciding on the merits of the main petition. The main case hearing is scheduled for August 22.
It is noteworthy that this petition was filed by Constable Muhammad Shafiq Khan, naming the Ministry of Interior and others as respondents.
The petitioner argued that the new recruitments are illegal and departmental promotion rights have been overlooked. The court has been requested to nullify the recruitment advertisement.
