London: (RightNow) Over 70 UK MPs have urged Prime Minister Andy Burnham to acknowledge the UN report on Israeli actions in Gaza and take effective measures against Israel.

The MPs’ letter references the UN report, which labels Israeli actions as genocide. According to the report, children were deliberately targeted.

The MPs demand the implementation of the 2024 advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, which called for Israel to withdraw from occupied territories.

The letter calls on the UK government to impose a complete arms embargo on Israel and ban trade in occupied Palestinian territories.

It is noteworthy that Israel has rejected the genocide allegations in Gaza, stating its actions are against Hamas, while the UN has dismissed these claims.
