Riyadh: (RightNow) Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed a strategic defense agreement last year. Under this agreement, both nations commit to ensuring each other’s security.

The agreement stipulates that an attack on one country will be considered an attack on both. This reflects the historical partnership between the two nations.

Currently, efforts are underway to further strengthen defense cooperation between the two countries. Officials state that joint defense measures will be implemented under the agreement.

This agreement highlights the importance of strategic interests and cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reflecting their eight-decade-long relationship.

It is noteworthy that at the time of the agreement, a meeting took place between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The meeting discussed bilateral relations.
