Washington: (RightNow) The US House of Representatives has approved a $1.15 trillion defense budget. This decision comes amid escalating tensions with Iran.

According to US media, the bill passed with 216 votes in favor and 212 against. The budget includes a clause to strengthen defense ties with Israel.

The majority of Republicans and 6 Democrats supported the bill. The Secretary of Defense will appoint the Pentagon’s executive agent.

Congressman Thomas Massie stated that military technology and supply chains should not be integrated with Israel.
