Tehran: (RightNow) The US Air Force targets various military sites in Iran for the 11th consecutive night. Following reports of explosions in Iranian cities, air defense systems are on high alert.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) states these strikes aim to reduce threats to commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. According to CENTCOM, the attacks are an effort to limit Iran’s military capabilities.

Iranian media reports that US strikes have reached areas in Bushehr, Kermanshah, and Khuzestan. Explosions were also heard in Konarak and Sirik.

Iran has fully activated its air defense system in Tehran. However, no official details on the damage from the attacks have been released.
