Muzaffarabad: (RightNow) Azad Kashmir Chief Election Commissioner Justice (Retd) Ghulam Mustafa Mughal announced changes to the legislative assembly election schedule.

He stated that elections in Mirpur Division will be held on July 27, while polling in Muzaffarabad Division and 12 seats for refugees in Pakistan will occur on August 2.

The Chief Election Commissioner further announced that polling in Poonch Division will take place on August 10. He promised that the elections will be fair and transparent.

He mentioned that the election schedule was amended after consulting all political parties to ensure impartial and transparent elections.

It is noteworthy that international observers and journalists will be fully allowed to cover the elections, enhancing transparency.
