AI system launched in PM Office, marking a significant step towards paperless governance and expected to enhance transparency.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The Prime Minister’s Office has launched an AI-based tracking and decision-making system. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif instructed full implementation, stating the traditional file system is now obsolete.
A modern AI and data-driven system is now operational in the PM Office, accelerating decision-making processes. Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal briefed that the use of modern technology is being increased on the Prime Minister’s directive.
Federal IT Minister Shaza Fatima stated that the digitization process is advancing towards paperless governance. She mentioned that this system will enhance government performance.
The new system will also activate an automated accountability mechanism, increasing transparency. The Prime Minister declared that no one will carry files into the office from now on.
It is noteworthy that in recent years, the government has intensified efforts to promote AI and digitization to make the system more efficient.
