Islamabad: (RightNow). Dissident members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have written to Barrister Gohar, revealing efforts to sideline Imran Khan. They urged the party chairman to devise a strong strategy for Khan’s release.

The dissidents stated in the letter that the sole purpose of the release movement is the founder chairman’s freedom, yet no practical progress has been made. They mentioned that despite assurances of a meeting with central leadership, no action has been taken.

The members demanded Barrister Gohar arrange an immediate meeting with Allama Nasir Abbas and Mahmood Khan Achakzai to advance the matter.

They claimed that Imran Khan is being overlooked on various occasions, and his image was missing from the Premier League program. The provincial government has also shown unusual closeness to other parties.

It is noteworthy that internal differences within PTI are increasing, and there are complaints about more funds being allocated to opposition parties in the budget.
