Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Amjad Hussain. The meeting focused on developmental issues in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Prime Minister congratulated Amjad Hussain on assuming the role of Chief Minister. He assured that the federal government will fully support Gilgit-Baltistan’s development.
The Prime Minister announced plans to promote renewable energy, tourism, infrastructure, health, and education in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The development of Gilgit-Baltistan is among the federal government’s top priorities. This will improve the region’s economic condition and enhance the quality of life for its residents.
It is noteworthy that plans for 100 megawatts of solar energy and the establishment of Danish schools in Gilgit-Baltistan are under consideration. The aim is to increase public facilities.
