Islamabad: (RightNow). A viral video on social media is being linked to a US-Iran conflict. Investigations reveal the video is of a fire in Spain.

The video shows scenes of fires at 140 locations. AFP has debunked this claim. The video is of a wildfire in Spain’s southern province of Almeria.

Spanish politician Rodrigo Alonso Fernandez initially shared the video. It depicts the fire in Los Gallardos, which spread to Antas.

The fire led to the evacuation of over 50 people and resulted in 13 deaths. It affected 7 thousand hectares.

AFP confirmed the video’s authenticity using Google Maps and geographical evidence. The video was wrongly linked to US-Iran tensions.
