Lahore: (RightNow) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed all deputy commissioners to initiate the Sanjhi Sabzi (Shared Vegetables) project. In Muzaffargarh, seasonal vegetables are being cultivated on urban government buildings and rural lands.

In Muzaffargarh, vegetables are being grown on 140 plots covering 139 kanals for the public. The project began in a Christian community village, with volunteers also participating in vegetable cultivation.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has praised the public welfare initiative in Muzaffargarh. She awarded a cash prize of 1 lakh rupees to the Deputy Commissioner of Muzaffargarh.

Under the Sanjhi Sabzi project, vegetables are being cultivated on government lands. The cultivation process is ongoing near health, local government, and other offices.

It is noteworthy that the Sanjhi Sabzi project provides free vegetables to those in need. This initiative is seen as a public welfare effort.
