Lower Dir: (RightNow) In the Laram Top Rabat Dara area of Lower Dir, a shooting exchange between police and armed individuals resulted in the martyrdom of 3 police officers. Fifteen officers were injured in the incident.

A police spokesperson stated that Constable Riaz and Constable Mohib Khan are among the martyrs. The injured officers have been transferred to the headquarters hospital in Timergara for immediate medical aid. Those severely injured are being taken to Peshawar for further treatment.

Upon receiving news of the incident, local political and social figures, along with public representatives, arrived at the headquarters hospital. Police have intensified the search operation in the area to prevent further attacks.

IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed stated that the police bravely countered the attack by the assailants. He claimed that the enemy suffered significant losses in this operation.

It is noteworthy that a new strategy for peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is being implemented. The government is fully committed to combating terrorism with full force.
