Lahore High Court approves vehicle scheme for 2,000 Punjab judicial officers at discounted rates.
Lahore: (RightNow) The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court has approved a scheme to provide vehicles to Punjab’s judicial officers at discounted prices.
According to the circular, under the Transport Monetization Facility, approximately 2,000 judicial officers across Punjab will be able to purchase government vehicles at reduced prices. The cost of these vehicles will range between 2.5 lakh and 3.5 lakh rupees.
The scheme will benefit District and Session Judges, Additional District and Session Judges, Senior Civil Judges, Civil Judges, and Family Court Judges. Additionally, judges from Anti-Terrorism, Accountability, Banking, FIA, Anti-Narcotics, Customs, and Labor Courts will also benefit from this facility.
Judicial officers from Punjab on deputation at the Supreme Court, Islamabad High Court, Constitutional Court, and other institutions will also be eligible for this scheme. This initiative aims to enhance the economic convenience of the officers.
It is noteworthy that judicial officers have previously received various benefits, but this scheme is specifically introduced to meet their transportation needs.
