Riyadh: (RightNow). The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has condemned the Houthi militia’s ballistic missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s southern region. The council has called for firm action from the international community.
GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi stated that the Houthi attack is a blatant violation of international laws. It is an attempt to destabilize the region’s peace and stability.
He emphasized that the international community should adopt a strong stance against the continuous violations by the Houthi militia. This could lead to the cessation of aggressive actions.
The Secretary-General declared that the security of Saudi Arabia is integral to the security of all GCC member states. The council has expressed support for measures to protect Saudi Arabia.
