Khawaja Asif expressed on social media that no one sacrifices their life just for a salary. Sacrifice is related to ideology and loyalty to the nation.

The Defense Minister further stated that questioning the sacrifices of martyrs at this time is inappropriate. Respecting their sacrifices is our national duty.
