Tehran: (Right Now News) Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has stated that sustainable peace in Lebanon is not possible without Iran. According to him, Iran’s role is crucial for stability in the region.

According to Iranian media, Qalibaf made this statement during a meeting in Tehran with senior Hezbollah leader Mohammad Fneish. Mohammad Fneish was in Tehran to attend the funeral of Iran’s former Supreme Leader.

The two leaders discussed Lebanon’s political and security situation and the relations between Iran and Lebanon. Qalibaf emphasized that Iran has always supported stability and resistance forces in the region.

He revealed that Lebanon’s situation has been a key topic in reconciliation talks between Iran and the United States. Qalibaf stated that regional issues can only be resolved through dialogue and cooperation.

It is noteworthy that Qalibaf’s statement comes at a time when diplomatic activities involving Iran, the United States, Lebanon, and Israel are intensifying, with ongoing discussions on the region’s political and security arrangements.
