Islamabad: (Right Now News) US President Donald Trump has claimed that a new round of talks with Iran could take place in Islamabad within the next 48 hours. However, due to Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif’s overseas commitments, this possibility seems unlikely.

After the failure of the previous round of talks, Pakistan has offered to host the negotiations again. Iranian officials consider Islamabad a safe venue for discussions, and the US President has instructed his team to prepare for the meeting.

President Trump believes the talks could happen soon, but a delay is expected due to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s presence in Saudi Arabia and Turkey. The Prime Minister’s visit is scheduled to conclude on April 18.

This visit is crucial for stability in the Middle East, with the agenda in Saudi Arabia and Turkey focusing on regional issues. A high-level delegation is accompanying the Prime Minister.

It should be noted that the first round of talks was held in Islamabad on April 11, which ended without results. Pakistan has proposed a second round of talks, confirmed by US Vice President JD Vance.
