Islamabad: (Right Now News) A high-level Iranian delegation has arrived in Islamabad, where important talks with the United States are expected. The delegation is led by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

The delegation includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Secretary of the Supreme National Defense Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati, and former Revolutionary Guards Commander Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr. Several members of parliament are also part of the delegation.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf shared a picture of the plane on social media, showing images of children martyred in the recent war on the plane’s seats. He referred to these children as companions in the negotiations.

These talks are taking place as Pakistan hosts efforts to advance a ceasefire between the US and Iran. The US delegation will be represented by Vice President J.D. Vance.

It is noteworthy that the atmosphere of the Islamabad talks is overshadowed by the situation in Lebanon, ceasefire conditions, and a mutual trust crisis, making it a significant test for the region.
