Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has persuaded Iran and USA representatives for a temporary ceasefire, with talks scheduled in Islamabad today.
Islamabad: (Right Now News) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that representatives from Iran and the USA have arrived in Pakistan for talks in Islamabad today. Addressing the nation, he stated that Pakistani leadership skillfully persuaded both parties to agree to a temporary ceasefire.
The Prime Minister revealed that the temporary ceasefire has been declared, and efforts for lasting peace are ongoing. He praised Field Marshal Asim Munir and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar for their efforts.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister clarified that Field Marshal Asim Munir played a crucial role in extinguishing the flames of war and persuading both parties to negotiate.
The Prime Minister expressed hope that if the talks succeed, countless innocent lives could be saved. Pakistan will make every possible effort for the success of these negotiations.
It should be noted that the outcome of the negotiations between the USA and Iran will soon be revealed. The Foreign Office spokesperson expressed hope that the parties will advance the talks constructively.
