London: (RightNow) The UK has deployed 3 out of its 4 nuclear submarines at sea for the first time in 5 years. This move indicates a potential shift in the country’s defense strategy.

According to British media, at least one of these submarines is armed with nuclear warheads. The submarines are named HMS Vanguard, HMS Vigilant, and HMS Vengeance. The fourth submarine, HMS Victorious, is currently under maintenance.

Following a recent warning by Defense Minister Wes Streeting, this deployment raises questions about changes in the UK’s defense policy. He stated that the UK must be prepared for war.

According to Navy Lookout, since 1969, at least one submarine armed with ballistic missiles has been continuously at sea. This deployment guarantees the UK’s security.

It is important to note that a spokesperson for the British Ministry of Defense stated that the nuclear deterrent protects the UK and NATO allies and is the foundation of national security.
