Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has offered conditional talks to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He stated that dialogue is possible only if the marches and sit-ins are called off.
The Prime Minister, speaking at an event, highlighted that two and a half years of effort have stabilized the national economy. He emphasized that macroeconomic stability is the nation’s desire and the voice of every Pakistani.
He warned that politics of protests and sit-ins could affect exports, imports, and manufacturing. He stated that the economy would be the first target of such demonstrations.
Shehbaz Sharif questioned whether halting the development process is not akin to enmity against the country. He advised PTI to act sensibly.
It is noteworthy that PTI’s protest politics pose a threat to national development and global reputation. The Prime Minister has made a conditional offer for talks.
