Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan has conducted air and drone strikes in Afghanistan, targeting 10 locations. These sites were used for launching and storing drones.

Federal Minister for Information, Atta Tarar, strongly condemned the drone incursions from Afghan territory. He stated that this act is a blatant violation of national sovereignty.

Atta Tarar reported that Pakistan intercepted and destroyed the intruding drones before they could reach their targets. The attempt to attack from Afghan soil was completely thwarted.

He further stated that the strikes were precise, limited, and focused on identified military targets. The drone launch sites in Afghanistan were specifically targeted.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan has urged the Afghan Taliban government to cease hostile activities. Pakistan has expressed its commitment to defending its sovereignty.
