Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan strongly condemns drone intrusions from Afghan soil. Pakistani officials state this action is a blatant violation of national sovereignty and integrity.

Pakistani air defense systems detected and destroyed all intruding drones. All drones were neutralized before reaching their designated targets.

Pakistan targeted 10 launch sites in Afghanistan under its right to self-defense. These actions were limited to identified military targets and were proportionate.

Pakistan demands the Afghan Taliban government immediately halt hostile activities against Pakistan. A decisive response will be given to any violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan is committed to peace, dialogue, and constructive relations in the region. However, this commitment to peace should not be mistaken for weakness or unlimited tolerance of hostile actions.
