Islamabad: (RightNow) The Islamabad High Court has formed a larger bench to hear the PTI protest case. The hearing, led by Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar, is scheduled for September 10.

The court has summoned provincial chief secretaries, IGs, and advocate generals in person. The Chief Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and IG Islamabad are also summoned.

Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar likened the PTI’s September 27 protest to a constitutional crisis. The Attorney General has been called for judicial assistance.

The constitutional crisis may affect citizens’ rights, with potential disruptions to business activities and traffic.

It is noteworthy that PTI has announced a sit-in in Islamabad on September 27. Concerns have been raised about the participation of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
