Jinnah Hospital expands robotic surgery facilities to reduce patient pressure and avoid surgery delays.
Karachi: (RightNow) Jinnah Hospital decides to install more robotic systems due to increasing patient pressure. Over 1,500 robotic surgeries have been completed at the hospital.
Through robotic surgery, Jinnah Hospital has completed over 1,500 operations, valued at more than 600 million rupees. On average, 8 to 10 surgeries are performed daily.
According to hospital management, efforts are underway to provide more facilities to increase the number of robotic surgeries. The growing number of patients is causing delays in surgery dates.
It is noteworthy that robotic surgery at Jinnah Hospital began in October 2023. Dr. Saddam Saleh states that by the end of this year, surgeries are expected to reach between 1,800 and 2,000.
It is important to note that Jinnah Hospital performs complex operations through robotic surgery, including urology, general surgery, and gynecology, without charging any additional fees.
