Karachi: (RightNow) The Judicial Commission has expressed strong displeasure with the police over the investigation into the alleged murder of young businessman Mir Raza Ali. The commission has raised questions about flaws in the police records and issued a notice to DIG Amir Farooqi for clarification.

During the commission’s hearing, statements from the deceased’s friends, Razik and Haitham, were recorded. The commission expressed dissatisfaction as the police failed to present complete statements. An interim charge sheet was submitted by the police, which did not name any suspects.

The commission emphasized that the police must provide complete records, warning that the matter could become more complicated otherwise. Justice Umar Sial stated that inconsistencies in police statements are unacceptable.
